About the Role

Join our R&D team to develop next-generation cable, harness and heating solutions. You will work on new materials, constructions and processes — from concept and prototyping to validation and qualification — helping WIPE hotwire stay ahead in demanding, standards-driven markets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop new cable, harness and heating-cable constructions and materials.
  • Build and test prototypes; plan and execute qualification and validation trials.
  • Evaluate insulation, shielding and conductor materials for performance and compliance.
  • Prepare technical reports, test data and design documentation.
  • Support certification to UL, VDE and IEC standards.
  • Collaborate with design, production and quality on new-product introduction.

Skills & Qualifications

Required Skills

  • Understanding of cable materials, insulation and manufacturing processes.
  • Hands-on prototyping and testing experience.
  • Knowledge of electrical, thermal and mechanical testing methods.
  • Familiarity with UL, VDE and IEC standards.
  • Strong analytical and documentation skills.

Preferred Skills (Optional)

  • Experience with polymer / compound development.
  • Exposure to high-temperature or high-voltage cable development.
  • Knowledge of Design of Experiments (DoE) and statistical analysis.

Certifications (If Applicable)

  • Domain-specific material or testing certifications are an added advantage.
